Skynet´s Quake Maps
I´ve built the following three deathmatch maps for Quake 1. Different from id´s DM maps and many custom maps,
especially Iron Factory and Elektronenhirn display a rather realistic environment. Iron Fortress, my first level, should take full
advantage of Quake´s true 3D design. A major problem in Quake is that a good player can get almost everything, making
the game very frustrating for all the not-so-good players. For this reason, I´ve added all the power artefacts (except the 666
in Elektronenhirn), so that even beginners can get the one or other frag, and good players don´t become invincible.
I also like technical stuff like the train and the pneumatic dispatch system in Iron Factory.
Skydm1: The Iron Fortress
My first Quake DM map. It has no new textures, but some mechanisms and traps that make fun. Gameplay is very fast in the big halls. There´s plenty of weapons, a ring, a quad and a pentagram, which is hidden in the lava pool near the thunderbolt at the rune bridge. Ratings on Quake pages:

Skydm2: The Iron Factory
This huge DM map is set inside a steel factory with a blast furnace, steel converters and a train. It has got some new textures and some funny extras, such as a poison gas room, a train and a pneumatic dispatch system which allows you to send some mailbombs to your opponents. Four players should be the absolute minimum for this big map. Ratings on Quake pages:

Skydm3: Elektronenhirn
A rather small Deathmatch level with a very 3D-like design. Only a few tricks und traps (buttons for the Quad-pit, crusher and ring room;
dangerous high voltage on ring room ceiling). Many new textures, which make this a huge room inside a super computer.

(Recommended, if you play Quake without transparent fluids; else you will see light shining from the pentagram in lava in Skydm1 and Skydm2.
Both versions have only different VIS data and should be compatible under QW.)
